Our motto is meant to inspire you to think beyond your self-perceived limitations, and learn how to move forward in your creative calling. Every one of us has a unique set of skills, relationships, and a heart for something that is meant to take us on a fulfilling journey, but sometimes we get stuck. The self-critic can relentlessly pull us down, people around you, or culture, can speak against what your vision and heart sees. Or sometimes we can just become discouraged, parking our dreams in the garage, not knowing what to do or how to proceed, as we see ourselves less than capable.
We've all felt that frustration, adults, teens, kids.. sometimes we just don't know how to voice it. But you don't have to stay there. We are here to inspire, uplift, and give you practical action steps to help you keep your mindset sharp. Through creative problem solving, journaling, sketching, and reflection activities, Minicrew keeps you moving.

About the creator
Minicrew was created (and illustrated) by Ben Faubion. He's a seasoned designer for marketing and product-based websites (and apps). He's worked with a TON of big brands, like Kawasaki, Disney, IBM, and so many more.. and has worked as a Design Sprint prototyper and co-facilitator with clients such as Fidelity, Dropbox, Prudential, helping with innovation workshops . He brings his experience has a design-thinking professional to the Minicrew characters he created, and uses humor to help people of all ages bring a bit more innovation into their lives. He currently works as the Principal Designer with startup based out of Maryland and spends time with his two kids and wife in Fallbrook, California. He's also the other half to the art-lesson brand, Artisans + Makers, with his wife Rebecca.
